Spoilsport – A new era!

In 1989 storm damage from Cyclone Joy caused us to abandon our Cairns Coral Sea itinerary. The recovery of Osprey Reef has seen Osprey Reef once again merit its world class diving status and Spoilsport begins its new Osprey Reef Itineraries beginning March 16th 2006 . The new 7 night Coral Sea Safari zeroes in on the best Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea sites north of Cooktown. Divers can break the itinerary in half at Lizard Island or do the north and south itineraries with no repeat dive sites except the Cod Hole. Spoilsport will have its extensive annual refit prior to its first Fly Dive Coral Sea expedition on March 16, 2006. Improvements include: new main engines, new Bauer compressors and Nitrox upgrade plus new lounge suites, and twin plasma entertainment systems. Our economy cabins, now upgraded to Club Cabins, have had a facelift with new ensuite bathrooms. A new customer care program and menus will add to this exciting new era in Mike Ball Dive Expeditions.
