Brandon Cole Headshot 2 Brandon travelled with us in November 2011 on a 7 Night Coral Sea Exploratory and a 3 night Fly Dive Cod Hole expedition.

Though Brandon Cole’s portfolio is heavily weighted in favor of the heavyweights of the sea-- whales, dolphins, sharks, pinnipeds, big fish-- he also enjoys chasing obscure little beasties, exploring coral reefs, and getting tangled in kelp forests. After earning a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from the University of California and working with the National Park Service and Australian Institute of Marine Science, he pursued a Ph.D. for a month, then succumbed to the lure of underwater photography. Cole’s work is published globally in editorial and advertising markets. He lives in landlocked Spokane, WA, USA with his wife and dive buddy Melissa.
