This 7 day ‘Eco Adventure’ includes reefs of exceptional biodiversity, a scenic reef flight, resort accommodation plus an exhilarating Skyrail/Kuranda rainforest experience.

Day 1: Thursday

Office Check-in: At the Mike Ball Dive Expeditions office between 8.30am and 4pm on your day of departure.

6pm Embark Spoilsport: Light refreshments and champagne on arrival

Day 2 – 4: Friday through Sunday

Get Spoilt! Visit dive sites renowned for their Minke Whale encounters, experience these impressive and inquisitive animals up close.  Spoilsport will take you to the locations known for the best and most numerous interactions to ensure you get the most out of your expedition.  Enjoy the best dive sites of the Ribbon Reefs and dive the Cod Hole while experiencing the comforts and unmatched service of Spoilsport. 

Day 5: Monday

Visit Lizard Island and board your plane for a low-level scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef, back to Cairns. Transfer is provided from the airport back to Cairns Colonial Club for check-in (if resort is full, room allocation will be delayed until 2pm). Take the opportunity to relax around the pool, or explore Cairns.

Day 6: Tuesday

Skyrail/Kuranda experience, plus evening staying at Cairns Colonial Club.  Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, is a world first in environmental tourism taking you on an amazing experience over Australia’s World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest with views all out to the Great Barrier Reef and a stops at Barron Falls and Red Peak station where you can experience the rainforest on interactive trails.  The cableway ends at Kuranda where  the Kuranda Koala Gardens are well worth a visit or enjoy lunch and souvenier shopping along the unique Main street or Heritage Markets.  Complete the day with a return journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway, built over 100 years ago, which twists and turns through the Barron Gorge on its way to Cairns.  Return transfer to Cairns Colonial Club.

Day 7: Wednesday

Relax or explore Cairns (check-out at 10am)
Complimentary transfer from Cairns Colonial Club to airport
