Young Photographers Get Free Entry, Allocated Seating, One Month to Go for Photo Competition Entries and Freshwater Images Are Allowed!

Photo Competition Deadline Looming - One Month To Go

With only one month to go time is running out to get your entries in to be eligible for the $30,000 in prizes our sponsors have donated.  The photo competition deadline is July 20th.  Entries can be submitted through the online form at our website and is just $20 (or free for the 'Young Photographer' category) regardless of how many categories you enter.

We are proud to announce free entry for the Young Photographer Category of the Photo Competition.

Team CUFF have decided to waive the entry fee for the Young Photographer Catergory.  Encouraging people to celebrate and share the Coral Sea and Great Barrier Reef is what the Cairns Underwater Film Festival is all about and it was agreed that waiving the entry fee for Young Photographer's was a great way to do that.  For any Young Photographers that still want to enter all categories and have a chance at winning all the great prizes the normal $20 fee will still apply, however the dedicated 'Young Photographer' category will be free to enter.

Clarification of Photo Competition Rules - Freshwater Images

Underwater images taken in freshwater in North Queensland will be accepted in the photo competition.

Allocated Seating at The Civic Theatre

This year all seating will be allocated at the Cairns Underwater Film Festival.  This will give everyone a chance to reserve their seats ahead of time.  In addition those who buy their tickets early will get their pick of the best seats!  If you haven't purchased tickets yet they are available to purchase through Ticketlink. Purchase online , by phone 1300 855 835 or at the Cairns Civic Theatre (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Sat 9am-1pm).
