    Annual Scheduled Maintenance Period

Spoilsport came out of the water on Thursday 3rd March for 4 weeks annual scheduled maintenance.  All engines and equipment - main engines; generators; air and nitrox compressors; tenders; tanks and dive equipment were overhauled and serviced to manufactures specifications to ensure 365 day reliability. Safety equipement was checked and serviced and a vessel survey completed to ensure strict compliance to Maritime Safety Queensland regulations. She was scrubbed, buffed, sanded, polished, painted and cleaned from top to bottom before heading back out to sea on the 31st March.

The Spoilsport crew and auxillary maintenance staff, including the team at NQEA Slipway did a fantastic job to complete a mammoth job list in 4 short weeks.

Everyone was fantastic, from the singing prowess of the skipper to the passion shown by the engineer for his engine room. The last dive (shark feed) was the best dive ever! I enjoyed the ease of multiple dives. The crew worked very well together. The wall dives were amazing, particularly the dive along the wall to the right of the Amphitheatre after the shark feed. The staff had excellent enthusiasm for all aspects of the trip - good spirit and great customer service. Osprey Reef was amazing - the shark feed; great walls, tunnels and passages through the sand.
