FAR NORTHERN CORAL SEA EXPLORATORY

From the dive deck – Kristy O’Neill

Simply incredible! As we ventured further North we came across more spectacularly healthy reef. Our guest are thrilled. They also witnessed a huge variety of Marine life! Turtles, sea snakes, leopard shark, lacey scorpionfish, potato cod, pygmy seahorses, schools upon schools of fish; blood red big eyes, sweet lips and chinaman snapper just to name a few. Though the five manta rays seen were a main highlight!

BEST WEATHER OF THE YEAR!

From the dive deck – Will & Kristy

Perfect weather conditions allowed us to visit three different Coral Sea reefs; Holmes, Bougainville and Osprey. Divers enjoyed sheer walls with 40m plus visibility and plenty of shark encounters. The excellent weather continued as we travelled south down the Ribbon Reefs of the GBR, visiting great dive sites such as Cod Hole, Lighthouse Bommie, Crack-a-Jack and Steve’s Bommie.
