Terms and Conditions (Applicable to all bookings)
This booking is a tentative hold only, your booking is not confirmed until booking form/s and payment is received.
If the booking is wait-listed, please note that you will be contacted by our reservations staff to discuss options to remain on the wait-list or to book another expedition or berths within 48hours. If you do not hear from our reservations staff within 48hours of placing a wait-listed booking, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
BOOKING FORM RETURN
If you fail to return a booking form by the deadline below, the berths will be released for sale.
If your booking is made more than 60 days prior to departure, a booking booking form for each guest within 3 days of the booking.
If your booking is made less than 30 days prior to departure, a booking form is required for each guest within 2 days of the booking.
The form can be faxed or emailed back to us.
CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENT
A completed booking form (one per guest) and 30% security deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure.
Less than 60 days prior to departure, forfeit 30% of trip fee
Less than 30 days prior to departure, forfeit 100% of trip fee
NB: Credit card fees incurred by MBDE will not be included in refunds.
WEATHER AND MECHANICAL CANCELLATIONS OR EVACUATION OF GUEST
Cancellations due to weather are refunded by your Booking Agency for value of days lost less associated costs of 15% of trip fee. Cancellations due to vessel breakdowns are fully refunded. If the evacuation of a guest causes a change of route; reduced days or dives, a credit is provided to the value of days lost.
Unforeseen work, medical or airline problems may cause you to cancel this expedition. Compensation for cancellation due to any personal matter must be claimed against your travel insurance. Compensation for: lost or damaged bags; belongings or equipment must be claimed against your travel insurance, no refund is offered. No compensation is offered to change flights or holiday plans.
You must be in good health for diving. Any medical history of heart or lung disorders, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or narcolepsy must be discussed with the reservations staff. You must not dive during the expedition if you are feeling unwell or have a chest cold or respiratory congestion. Any medical condition contrary to these requirements requires a diving medical certificate completed by a diving medical specialist.
When placing a booking request, your email details are entered directly into our reservations and mailing systems. The email address you provide will be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your booking in addition to occasional company news.
