Big Turtles and playful Cod
From the dive deck - Jelle Kolet
Giant green and loggerhead turtles were seen by happy divers on both Bougainville and the Great Barrier Reef. The potato cod at the famous Cod Hole were very playful and sent divers back beaming. The night dive at Gotham City was spectacular with hunting trevally and sharks creating a lot of underwater excitement.

Staff is always smiling & ready to assist with anything & everything. Lighthouse Bommie was the prettiest of all with the greatest variety of sea life.
The Best of the Ribbon Reefs
From the dive deck, Kerrin Jones, 9-16 Nov 2017
Although strong winds kept Spoilsport in the shelter of the Ribbon Reefs this week rather than out in the Coral Sea, divers enjoyed some of the best the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. Highlights included cuttlefish found amongst the excellent coral at Coral Kingdom, encounters with schooling sweetlips and potato cod at the Cod Hole, sea snakes and a friendly turtle at Lighthouse Bommie.

From Cairns to Lizard Island and Back
From the dive deck - Kerrin Jones
This northbound trip featured two days of the best of the Ribbon Reefs, with divers encountering giant clams, cuttlefish, sea snakes, turtles and some wonderful coral gardens. Our third day of diving was spent out at Osprey Reef, with an exciting shark feed and colourful wall dives, with a final highlight on Monday morning of a scenic flight across the GBR from Lizard Island back to Cairns.

Diving the reef at Raine Is. was very special: the colours of the corals were incredible; as was the coral cover & the numerous turtle encounters.
Mel Thomas - Australia
Amazing diving with exploratory dives. The most pristine reef I've ever seen was at Raine Island.
Turtle Spectacular
From the dive deck – By Jelle Kolet
The far northern reefs were a welcome surprise. Large pinnacles with stunning corals and abundant fish like Big Bommie and Epic were favourites amongst elated divers. It was turtle soup around Raine Island. Hundreds of breeding size green turtles were seen both from Spoilsport and underwater. The exploratory dives produced undiscovered dive sites of untold beauty.
